Seismion Reactio - Active Vibration Isolator

Seismion Reactio is a fully active, high-performance vibration isolator, which was originally developed to meet the highest standards for scientific advancement and applications like semiconductor inspection, nanotechnology and industrial metrology. It features extremely sensitive piezoelectric sensors, which detect even vibrations in the range of picometers. An allanalog electronic control circuit and voice coil actuators generate the required compensation forces.
All passive isolators like rubber mounts, coil springs or air bearings can only reduce the disturbance forces coming from the base, but they do not stabilize the application. As a unique feature, active vibration isolators generate counterforces, which both isolate the application from the base, and stabilize it at the same time. The result is an extremely clean and sharp image of the music reproduction. It also strongly improves the performance for devices with moving parts like turntables.
Seismion Reactio starts isolating from frequencies above 1.5 Hz, reaches more than -30 dB from 1 O Hz, and therefore offers the maximum isolation performance in the whole audible frequency range. The performance is multiple times better than high-quality air spring isolators.
